She obtained her nursing degree from Indian River State College (IRSC) before advancing her education with undergraduate and graduate degrees from South University. During her studies, she gained hands-on experience working full-time as a emergency medicine/trauma nurse in the emergency room, which enriched her clinical skills and prepared her for a broad range of medical challenges.
Ashley is licensed in Florida and certified through the American Association of Nurse Practitioners (AANP). Her current professional interests include primary care, internal medicine, and a particular focus on thyroid health and acute patient management.
Having lived in Port St. Lucie for over 30 years, Ashley is deeply connected to the community she serves. Outside of her professional responsibilities, she enjoys spending time with her son and miniature schnauzer.
Ashley is passionate about providing compassionate, patient-centered care and is committed to improving the health and well-being of her patients.

NP East was very professional and thorough. She addressed my concerns, immediate needs and gave advice about future visits. I did not expect any of the staff to care for me as a person because I'm new to the system. I thought all the staff were friendly and professional.

Ashley had an Excellent bedside manner. She not only listened, asked appropriate questions and was patient but she seemed to genuinely care about me as her patient.

Ashley showed great concern for my health. She went above and beyond to make sure I got the care and attention needed. She also took issue with a prior visit with someone else and voiced that concern to upper channels.

Outstanding care from Ashley East. She has helped me get my cholesterol under control and the numbers going in the right direction and applauding me with the results of my weight loss. I hope to continue to lose more weight as time goes on. I'm very grateful to be seen by Ashley East.
