At Lodi Hospital’s Emergency Department, your needs will be evaluated and then you'll be examined by a doctor. You can trust that you will be treated quickly, safely and professionally. It's our promise. In addition, Lab and Radiology services are available 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

Getting life-saving medical treatment within 60 minutes –"the Golden Hour" – may sometimes mean the difference for critically ill or injured patients. We provide around-the-clock helicopter transportation for critically ill or injured patients from hospital to hospital or from accident scene to hospital. When seconds count, this makes the difference. Our helicopter service can transport patients to Akron General in approximately 12 minutes.

In keeping with its mission of improving the health and lives of the people and communities we serve, Lodi Hospital's Emergency Department is a state-of-the-art, 11,000-square-foot facility with private treatment rooms, including pediatric, trauma, cardiac, critical care and a separate triage area.

Our 12 state-of-the-art private treatment rooms are designed to make you feel more comfortable and respected. Walls, not curtains, separate you from other patients. You not only receive personal treatment, you're in a comfortable, private room.

When you or a member of your family has an emergency, you want to know the physicians have extensive training in emergency situations. Lodi Hospital's Emergency Department is staffed by Board-certified emergency medicine physicians who are supported by highly trained nurses and technologists to treat individuals of all ages. In addition, all of our emergency nurses are trained in Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS).
