In collaboration with Northeast Ohio Medical University (NEOMED), Ohio University Heritage College of Osteopathic Medicine (OUHCOM), and other respected medical schools, Cleveland Clinic Akron General offers clinical training to medical students, residents, nurses and a variety of allied health learners who work together in an interdisciplinary team to provide the world-class care every patient should expect. Prospective residents may select from one of seven accredited training programs in various and diverse fields.

Cleveland Clinic Akron General also offers continuing medical education including memorial lectures, clinical symposiums and medical grand rounds. CME provides our faculty with the educational activities needed to maintain or increase the knowledge, skills and professional performance and relationships that a physician uses to provide services for patients, the public, or the profession. These CME activities are provided in both live and online formats.
