When Do I Call My Doctor?

When you need non-emergency medical care, call your primary care provider (PCP) first.

Your PCP’s office is available 24/7 and can help determine what care you need and can schedule an urgent appointment if necessary. For non-urgent requests, you or a family member can also message your PCP on MyChart.

For life-threatening emergencies, go to the nearest emergency department or call 911.
