Is your medicine cabinet filled with expired or unused medications? Disposing of extra medications is an important step in preventing drug abuse or limiting the risk of accidental exposure. The best and safest way to get rid of old medications is not to flush them down the pipes, but instead take them to a designated disposal kiosk.
Visit select Cleveland Clinic pharmacies during pharmacy hours to safely and anonymously dispose of any approved medications at a convenient disposal kiosk.
For more information, or to find additional disposal locations near you, visit the Cuyahoga County Opiate Task Force site.
