Brandon Mooney, PA-C, is a highly experienced and dedicated healthcare professional specializing in urology and men's health, including erectile dysfunction (ED), hypogonadism, benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH), and prostate and bladder cancer screening.
He began his medical career with a bachelor’s degree in biology from the University of Akron and pursued further studies in Medical Technology with a specialization in Microbiology at the Children's Hospital of Akron. He then went on to complete the Tri-C Physician Assistant Program, obtaining a PA Degree, and earned a master’s degree in PA Science from the University of Nebraska.
With over 23 years of experience as a Physician Assistant, including 17 years in urology, Mooney has developed a deep understanding of urological conditions and the management of men's health issues. He actively contributes to the field through his involvement in research and education. He started and taught the Pre-Prostatectomy Shared Medical Appointment, a valuable program for patients scheduled for Prostatectomy Surgery. His dedication and expertise led to recognition in the form of the Physician Assistant Shining Star Award in 2020.
While not practicing medicine, Mooney enjoys cooking and exploring new recipes, the great outdoors and engage in activities such as camping, hiking, and capturing fast-action shots through photography, particularly in sports settings. Another interesting hobby they pursue is cheese making, showcasing their creativity and love for culinary arts.
With his extensive experience and dedication to patient care, Mooney is a valued healthcare professional in the field of urology and men's health.

I had commented to him on how precise and very thorough thru every step of my examination.I also stated that I wish more Doctors were like him in his care & detailed explanation of every aspect of my first visit with him.I give him a 12 stars out of 10

Caregiver was in a bad mood and chastised me with the aspects of how much water I should...this went on and on like I was ignorant.

Brandon made me feel very comfortable about discussing sex. Something that is awkward for me to discuss with a doctor. He was thorough in explaining my options and I look forward to my next visit....as much as one does.

Dr. Mooney took the time to explain my options for treatment. I was incredibly impressed by his desire to make sure I understood my diagnosis, how it's tested, the results, and active surveillance. I feel Dr. Mooney cared about me. Which isn't a common experience for me. So I greatly appreciated him for his service. I can't thank him enough!

Brandon was very patient and thorough in answering all the questions I had about my concerns that the CT scan revealed. He put my mind at ease over things that I was worried about. He is and excellent care provider.

Never even met the doctor he was in the other room talking about vacations with his other patient for 45 minutes. I left before seeing him.
