I saw Dr. Gilot for a second opinion regarding whether surgery was warranted for my reinjured shoulder. I was referred to this surgeon by a friend who Is a tenured professor at the University of Miami teaching physical therapy. His advice was informed and precise; he spent plenty of time explaining his prognosis at a level that was easy for me, with no medical background but many years of weight training. Dr. Gilot saw me on time, he and his staff were genuinely friendly and professional, and I never felt like I was being talked down to - something I don't tolerate.
