I am thankful for Dr. Roselli. He did a great job on the first aorta repair. He also saved me a lot of extra pain and recovery time with the new FDA stent trial he is involved with from my second aorta issue. Dr. Roselli's staff always speaks highly of him.

Provider stated surgery coordinator would contact me in 1-2 days about elective aortic repair surgery. That was 9 days ago and have not heard anything yet about scheduling, not scheduling, or difficulty scheduling the surgery.

Having had open heart surgery, I joke with my friends about how I hope they never have to meet a heart surgeon professionally. However, if they do need one I would definitely recommend the Cleveland Clinic and, if there need involved the aortic valve or an aortic aneurysm, I would highly recommend Dr Roselli.

Didn't feel informed about all issues.

Reviewed on Dec 30, 2016

Dr. Roselli was the best doctor I could have hoped for to guide me through a life-saving procedure. In the lead up to my heart surgery to replace my aorta and aortic valve, he was engaged and interested in my condition, and reassuring and confidence-instilling in his ability to get the problem taken care of seamlessly. He described his method of taking extra precaution for everybody to ensure success, which is, I'm sure, one of the many reasons he is considered one of the best in his line of work. During the surgery, he was able to make important decisions on the fly that were creative and positively life-altering. He deviated from the plan to replace my valve because it was in good enough condition to repair, which saves me a life worth of taking blood thinners and monitoring INR levels. After the surgery, he explained in great detail to my family the mechanics of the procedure he had just done, and checked in on me to see how I was doing and answer any questions I had. I couldn't have asked for a more talented or caring doctor and team to carry out a life-saving procedure.

This was my first visit to the Cleveland clinic and I was overall very impressed with the facility, the staff and especially the Doctors. While I had been told how exceptional the Clinic was I was still very impressed that it was better than my expectations.
