Cleveland Clinic strives to make scientific advances that will benefit patient care and support outside relationships that promise public benefit. In order for the discoveries of Cleveland Clinic physicians' and scientists' laboratories and investigations to benefit the public, these discoveries must be commercialized in partnership with industry. As experts in their fields, Cleveland Clinic physicians and scientists are often sought after by industry to consult, provide expertise and education.
To assure professional and commercial integrity in such matters, Cleveland Clinic maintains a program that reviews these collaborations and, when appropriate, puts measures in place to minimize bias that may result from ties to industry. Cleveland Clinic publicly discloses the names of companies when (i) its physicians/scientists receive $5,000 or more per year (or, in rare cases, equity or stock options) for speaking and consulting, (ii) its physicians/scientists serve as a fiduciary, (iii) its physicians/scientists receive or have the right to receive royalties or (iv) its physicians/ scientists hold any equity interest for the physician's/scientist's role as inventor, discoverer, developer, founder or consultant.* In publicly disclosing this information, Cleveland Clinic tries to provide information as accurately as possible about its physicians' and scientists' connections with industry.

Dr. Samuel is a knowledgeable and compassionate provider. Despite a busy schedule, he takes the time to listen to every patient. He is the embodiment of an excellent physician. Cleveland Clinic is very fortunate to have such a professional, caring provider representing this "world-class" healthcare organization.

Dr. Samuel had another doctor with him that he was training, took longer than normal.

I was in much pain when I made the appointment but it was from a chronic bad back and I knew what I had to do to cope with it. But the availability to see Dr. Samuel was unreasonable. I treated myself, but kept the appointment and was not symptomatic at the time of the actual appointment so I think it was a waste of time

Wanted to see Dr Sam at a different location other than Main Campus, but was unable to get an appointment. Also, the transferring on the phone, over and over is horrible. Calls are at times, not answered BEFORE 15 minutes. Very frustrating.

Dr Samuel took all my past records and told me what was wrong with me. He took his time. If I ever need a bone specialist again, I will return.

Dr Samuel and his team are outstanding. I only wish I could have gotten in to see him at an earlier date since his treatment was very beneficial. I look forward to my next treatment. Only complaint so far is the failure of the Hanger Clinic to call me back to make my orthotic appointment which Dr Samuel prescribed on August 7.

The doctor was outstanding! He was very personable and kind, and seemed to thoroughly review my history swiftly, but with enough attention. I was a little confused about the medications because we reviewed them quickly and then not all of them were on my end of visit printout, but I was able to follow up and get the answers I needed within a couple of days.

This provider is extremely busy. Appointments need to be made well in advance. "Urgent" or "Emergency" appointments with this particular provider are nearly impossible.

I have had multiple ongoing health issues resulting in many CCF physician appointments since a bad fall in January. I was referred to Dr. Samuel for chronic pain management, and I could not be more pleased with his thoroughness about my ongoing health problems. I am very impressed by every aspect of my interaction with Dr. Samuel. He exemplifies the " patient centered approach" to the practice of medicine. I rate him 100%!

Dr. Samuel is intensely interested in finding the cause of his patient's problems even when presented with multiple diagnoses and sources of pain. I rate him as "the best in the business". Thank You!

While my visit was delayed due to many patients waiting, the exceptional care I received from Dr.Samuel more than made up for the wait. As patient, I would wait day and night for an appointment with Dr. Samuel. I understand that superior physicians are very busy physicians, and they cannot control emergencies or the condition of the patients when they arrive in the doctor's office. I don't think much of patients who assume the they have a right to instant treatment and who complain from the moment they arrive.

Dr. Samuel is wonderful. He is very knowledgeable and reassuring and explains every minute detail of the procedure. I am glad to have him as my doctor.

Dr. Samuel took the time to explain EVERYTHING. He made sure it was all covered and the we had all the answers we looked for prior to the visit.
