Cleveland Clinic physicians and scientists may collaborate with the pharmaceutical or medical device industries to help develop medical breakthroughs or provide medical expertise or education. Cleveland Clinic strives to make scientific advances that will benefit patient care and support outside relationships that promise public benefit. In order for the discoveries of Cleveland Clinic physicians' and scientists' laboratories and investigations to benefit the public, these discoveries must be commercialized in partnership with industry. As experts in their fields, Cleveland Clinic physicians and scientists are often sought after by industry to consult, provide expertise and education.

To assure professional and commercial integrity in such matters, Cleveland Clinic maintains a program that reviews these collaborations and, when appropriate, puts measures in place to minimize bias that may result from ties to industry. Cleveland Clinic publicly discloses the names of companies when (i) its physicians/scientists receive $5,000 or more per year (or, in rare cases, equity or stock options) for speaking and consulting, (ii) its physicians/scientists serve as a fiduciary, (iii) its physicians/scientists receive or have the right to receive royalties or (iv) its physicians/ scientists hold any equity interest for the physician's/scientist's role as inventor, discoverer, developer, founder or consultant.* In publicly disclosing this information, Cleveland Clinic tries to provide information as accurately as possible about its physicians' and scientists' connections with industry.

As of 2/10/2019, Dr. Samuel has reported no financial relationship with industry that is applicable to this listing. Dr Samuel Samuel has been my pain management doctor for years, and he has consistently been able to help me in some of my worst moments of pain. He's treated me and I've been able to have relief from high level of pain. I've been able to walk with more comfort and ease. Just a couple in MAY, I had caused more injury to my left leg and could barley walk. Dr Samuel gave me a shot and I have been walking with a great deal of ease ever since. I thank Dr Samuel so much for that and all of the treatment that he has giving me.

Dr. Samuel had another doctor with him that he was training, took longer than normal.

Reviewed on Dec 11, 2018

I was in much pain when I made the appointment but it was from a chronic bad back and I knew what I had to do to cope with it. But the availability to see Dr. Samuel was unreasonable. I treated myself, but kept the appointment and was not symptomatic at the time of the actual appointment so I think it was a waste of time

Wanted to see Dr Sam at a different location other than Main Campus, but was unable to get an appointment. Also, the transferring on the phone, over and over is horrible. Calls are at times, not answered BEFORE 15 minutes. Very frustrating.

Dr Samuel and his team are outstanding. I only wish I could have gotten in to see him at an earlier date since his treatment was very beneficial. I look forward to my next treatment. Only complaint so far is the failure of the Hanger Clinic to call me back to make my orthotic appointment which Dr Samuel prescribed on August 7.
