About Kelly Richter, MD

Kelly Richter, MD, became a Staff Physician in the Cleveland Clinic Department of Orthopaedic Surgery in 2003. She sees patients at the Cleveland Clinic Strongsville Family Health & Surgery Center.

Before coming to Cleveland Clinic, Dr. Richter was Assistant Professor, Orthopaedics and Internal Medicine, and she was a team physician at Vanderbilt University Medical Center. Additionally, she has served as team physician for Belmont University, Nasvhille, Tenn.

She is board-certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine, the American Board of Pediatrics, and she has a certificate of added qualification in sports medicine.

Dr. Richter is a member of the American Medical Society of Sports Medicine, the American College of Sports Medicine and the American Academy of Pediatrics. Dr. Richter’s specialty interests include pediatric orthopaedics and sports medicine.

My experience with Dr. Richter was pretty amazing. Every time I visit her, she has always demonstrated the highest degree of professionalism that a patient should expect from a health care provider. Dr. Richter takes time to explain to the patient what the problem is and what the potential or possible remedies are, and this is what makes me feel comfortable after each visit knowing that I am being seen by a provider who really cares.

Very disappointed with the appointment scheduling it took nearly 45 minutes before I actually saw the doctor. Appontments are easy but why book them if the patient cannot be seen on time?

Last questions has nothing to do with doctor has everything to do with how the hospital administration is encouraging overbooking the doctors time!!
