About Kelly Richter, MD

Kelly Richter, MD, became a Staff Physician in the Cleveland Clinic Department of Orthopaedic Surgery in 2003. She sees patients at the Cleveland Clinic Strongsville Family Health & Surgery Center.

Before coming to Cleveland Clinic, Dr. Richter was Assistant Professor, Orthopaedics and Internal Medicine, and she was a team physician at Vanderbilt University Medical Center. Additionally, she has served as team physician for Belmont University, Nasvhille, Tenn.

She is board-certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine, the American Board of Pediatrics, and she has a certificate of added qualification in sports medicine.

Dr. Richter is a member of the American Medical Society of Sports Medicine, the American College of Sports Medicine and the American Academy of Pediatrics. Dr. Richter’s specialty interests include pediatric orthopaedics and sports medicine.

my experience with Dr.Richter has been the best of all my Doctors at clinic I have had. She goes out of her way to help you through all your concerns . Ive gone to her for many years .She feels like part of my family. Also Amy her nurse is so amazing too. they are a great team .

When I called Monday AM for an appointment, the choices were unacceptable and I would have had to wait until the following Monday to see someone 45 minutes away while I was suffering with a broken foot and sprained ankle that were diagnosed Saturday at the ER. Luckily I had MyChart messaged Dr. Richter requesting an appointment on Sunday. Her MA responded Monday morning and got me in Tuesday. Dr. Richter and her staff are the best!!!!

I waited almost 2 hours to even see a doctor and then I leave and there's no one there to schedule the next appointments I need. I will never go here again. The absolute worst facility I have been to.

I said good in the registration area because when I got there, there were 3 in registration and it was my first time in here none of them didn't even ask me if I had check-in.but when I was leaving the lady that was there was so sweet and helpful very helpful. don't understand having 3 and none of them said anything to me.and then when I came out just one was so pleasant and helpful that I decided to keep going to this clinic. she changed my mine and so did Dr. Kelly Richtchar very helpful want to keep seeing her.

I am so pleased with Cleveland Clinic. I have changed family doctors due to issues with my doctor that I have had for years. Because of the service and care that I have received from Cleveland Clinic for so many different things, I now have a family doctor through Cleveland Clinic. I feel like I have such kind professionals that I deal with, from the receptionist, to the physical therapist, to the many doctors I have had. Please keep up the good work!

dr richter Really made my child feel at ease. She took so much time with us to explain her options in her plan. I love Dr. Richter! She and Amy make a wonderful team. I am never disappointed in my care with her. She is not only professional and very knowledgeable, she has a wonderful bedside manner, and that means a lot to me, especially being hearing impaired. She explains my care and treatment, gives me options without trying to push or influence anything on me that I am not comfortable with and is very patient.
