Cleveland Clinic physicians and scientists may collaborate with the pharmaceutical or medical device industries to help develop medical breakthroughs or provide medical expertise or education. Cleveland Clinic strives to make scientific advances that will benefit patient care and support outside relationships that promise public benefit. In order for the discoveries of Cleveland Clinic physicians' and scientists' laboratories and investigations to benefit the public, these discoveries must be commercialized in partnership with industry. As experts in their fields, Cleveland Clinic physicians and scientists are often sought after by industry to consult, provide expertise and education.
To assure professional and commercial integrity in such matters, Cleveland Clinic maintains a program that reviews these collaborations and, when appropriate, puts measures in place to minimize bias that may result from ties to industry. Cleveland Clinic publicly discloses the names of companies when (i) its physicians/scientists receive $5,000 or more per year (or, in rare cases, equity or stock options) for speaking and consulting, (ii) its physicians/scientists serve as a fiduciary, (iii) its physicians/scientists receive or have the right to receive royalties or (iv) its physicians/ scientists hold any equity interest for the physician's/scientist's role as inventor, discoverer, developer, founder or consultant.* In publicly disclosing this information, Cleveland Clinic tries to provide information as accurately as possible about its physicians' and scientists' connections with industry.

Public Health Service-Reportable Financial Conflicts of Interest. Cleveland Clinic scientists and physicians engage in basic, translational and clinical research activities, working to solve health problems, enhance patient care and improve quality of life for patients. Interactions with industry are essential to bringing the researchers' discoveries to the public, but can present the potential for conflicts of interest related to their research activities. it took me three years to schedule an appointment for this year with the doctor I wanted to see. schedule was only 3 months out and every time I called, the appointments were full. No opportunity for a wait list of call back. They just told me I need to keep calling back....

Dr. Hajj Ali is an acceptional MD with an exceptional staff of excellence, as is Dr. Simpfendorfer, those are unusual in any hospital

Dr. Hajj-Ali is an amazing physician. I've never met a person who can diagnose a rare disease just by talking to a patient, and then have the diagnosis verified by subsequent medical testing. She has a very personable demeanor, and I always enjoy my visits with her. I'm not sure what I'd do without Dr.Hajj-Ali!

Dr. Hajj Ali is a very considerate and practical care provider, however, she is always over-booked. For all the excellent care that she has given me, I have less faith in her Nurse practitioner. The likelihood of my referrals getting an appointment is probably nil.

I have been seeing Dr. Haj -Ali for many years and she has helped me so much. I have recommended her and the Clinic to people and will continue to do so.

Dr. Sunil Suresaca is amazing. very personable, approachable, and found the cause of my issue right away when other doctors could not over 11 years.

I have never had a health care provider show more care or listen to me like this doctor. She listed at least 12 medications available to me and discussed every one. She spent more time with me in one visit than my previous doctor did in three years put together. She listened to me and ran tests to make sure there wasn't a secondary problem. I have NEVER met a doctor like her and I have told everyone about her.

I was experiencing a side effect for an injection I was given at my visit. I was able to speak to my doctor about it easily. I was very pleased with her checking up on me the very next day to see how I was doing and if the medicine she prescribed for the side effects was working, even though it was a Saturday.
