Dr. Kalahasti & his team (Luna) and his nursing staff are amazing. I travel from Maryland not just because Cleveland Clinic is one of the best hospitals around but because of Dr. Kalahasti. You won't find a better cardiologist. He takes time to show care and concern and compassion. He answers all of my questions and explains in detail anything I need explaining on. He shows diagrams and tools that can teach me about the heart and my defect and what's to be expected. He takes an interest in my health outside of cardiology and offers suggestions upon me returning home for additional follow up and health care. He always remembers me and my history (my brother) and his story and though he doesn't see me often, It makes us feels like he cares about my well being and Makes an effort to put a face with a name not just a patient or a record number. He's very knowledgeable in the medical field. Not just in cardiology but with other health issues and though it's not his specialty he will always listen and offer suggestions. His nursing staff operates the exact same way. They ask questions and put me at ease when I may feel anxious on the visits and guide me through whatever the schedule is that day for me (tests or follow up). Luna and his office staff return calls promptly and follow up if needed. They are all pleasant to speak to and are very helpful. Luna is always remembering who I am and of all the people she sees and speaks to, I am not sure how she does that but it shows that she takes pride in her work. One of the scariest things each year for me as a 44 year old patient who learned less than two years ago I have Multiple issues with my heart and that it is congenital, yet I look forward to the appointment each year. Where I would usually be worried about the progression of my heart defects, knowing I am traveling to Cleveland Clinic to see one of the best Doctors in the country makes things much easier for me! Thank you Dr. Kalahasti And Luna & staff and Cleveland Clinic as a whole for providing the best possible care available. The travel is worth it! The time is worth it!

Dr. Vidyasagar Kalahasti is simply outstanding. In contrast to the mess at the J1-4 Desk, his assistant working to move patients to his exam room after they registered at J1-5 was also fantastic and got me in to see the doctor much earlier than my scheduled appointment time. The efficiency of having my EKG and especially my Echo cardiogram results available to Dr Kalahasti in what was basically near real time was amazing. Both the EKG technician and the Echo Cardiogram technician were top notch as well.
