Cleveland Clinic strives to make scientific advances that will benefit patient care and support outside relationships that promise public benefit. To assure professional and commercial integrity in such matters, Cleveland Clinic maintains a program that reviews these collaborations and, when appropriate, puts measures in place to minimize bias that may result from ties to industry. Cleveland Clinic publicly discloses the names of companies when (i) its physicians/scientists receive $5,000 or more per year (or, in rare cases, equity or stock options) for speaking and consulting, (ii) its physicians/scientists serve as a fiduciary, (iii) its physicians/scientists receive or have the right to receive royalties or (iv) its physicians/ scientists hold any equity interest for the physician's/scientist's role as inventor, discoverer, developer, founder or consultant.* In publicly disclosing this information, Cleveland Clinic tries to provide information as accurately as possible about its physicians' and scientists' connections with industry.

Dr did not want to hear anything from me. He was too busy or didn't care.

I cannot understand why a fellow doctor would ask a patient....What do you want us to do for your issue? Isn't that why patients come to a doctor for their advice? Dr. Rosen did not ask this question to me....his fellow did!

Dr. Rosen is the best abdominal wall reconstruction surgeon on this planet. Pay him handsomely. He was recommended to me by the Mayo Clinic.

Dr. Rosen performed hernia repair surgery on me about 3 weeks ago. I was extremely impressed by the entire team that cared for me both in the hospital, before the surgery, and after the surgery. They communicated everything about my care and my concerns to Dr. Rosen and was completely up-to-speed with my concerns and my care.

very good

Reviewed on Jul 6, 2017

My overall assessment of Dr. Michael Rosen and his team are, they are highly skilled and professional. They showed me the utmost respect and concern, I couldn't have chosen a better surgeon for my situation. Dr. Rosen put me at ease about the procedure and explained what to expect not only during the surgery but after as well. He was a great listener and was most knowledgeable about his subject matter.

Dr. Michael Rosen is exceptional. I am very pleased he did my surgery.

Reviewed on Jun 1, 2017

I thought doctor Michael J. Rosen was a very personable and genuinely concerned surgeon. My only concern was that the appointment felt a little rushed. We flew here from over 700 miles away and spent about 10-15 minutes with the doctor. I very much liked him and am looking forward to having him operate on me. I just wish that we had not felt a little bit rushed. There was no discussion about alternatives, perhaps because there might not be any good ones. He did discuss what to expect. Again, it just seemed like there was little explanation about my condition. However, I trust him wholly and he did answer a lengthy e-mail I sent within 24 hours. I thought it was incredible given how busy he is.

Very good experience.

Reviewed on Apr 17, 2017

This was a visit to see if surgery was needed and appropriate. I felt very confident in how the surgeon was planning to perform the surgery, he was confident he could do the procedure and I left knowing I would be in good hands.

Everyone up there was very nice to me. I was very scared coming in because I didn't know what to expect, I had a very good experience.
