Hilary was not listening to me as a patient and before addressing my issue she kept trying to tell me about the process. I was very frustrated because I was calling during a break from work and her determination to tell me about the process created unnecessary stress about securing my appointment. I had been trying to get an appointment for months as I usually try to secure appts on or before my birthday. I forgot my sept scheduled which I have never done in all the years I have been seeing Dr. Lisbona. I also historically have received a email or text. She kept insisting I needed to be connected to My Chart. I would have preferred to get my issue resolved FIRST and then educate me about the process. She also seemed intent on being right rather than being helpful, and she also talked over me which I considered to be quite rude.

Dr. Lisbona is the perfect balance of compassion and care. I have been a patient of hers for years. She is an excellent medical practitioner and holds my health and my heart in her hands during my visits with her. I hope Cleveland clinic demonstrates appreciation to her and others who uphold these high standards of care. Than you Dr. Lisbona for taking such good care of me for all these years. Bless you!

I do not feel Dr. Lisbona followed the usual protocol for a first prenatal appointment. She was unsure how to operate the vaginal ultrasound machine; she informed me she didn't know how to measure the baby or turn on the noise for me to hear the heartbeat. I ultimately miscarried just 6 days later, and I feel she could have better prepared me for that experience (ie. the baby isn't growing at a normal rate given first day of last period, baby's heart rate is not at a normal rate, etc.). Dr. Lisbona also ignored my questions about possible problematic outcomes, given knowledge of my husband's balanced translocated chromosome.
