Biography

About Pauline Kwok, MD

Pauline Kwok, MD, has been a staff member in the Department of Radiology at Cleveland Clinic Fairview Hospital since 2002. She is board-certified by both the American Board of Radiology and the American Board of Nuclear Medicine and has certificates of added qualification in nuclear radiology and nuclear cardiology. Her interests include general diagnostic radiology and nuclear medicine.

Dr. Kwok earned a bachelor’s degree in biomedical engineering from Vanderbilt University and a medical degree from the University of Kentucky. After a one-year rotating internship at Cleveland Clinic, she completed residency programs in diagnostic radiology and nuclear medicine at Georgetown University Medical Center, Morristown Memorial Hospital and Cleveland Clinic. She then completed a fellowship in abdominal imaging at Cleveland Clinic.

An active member of Cleveland Clinic’s Alumni Association, Dr. Kwok served as President of Cleveland Clinic’s House Staff Association from 2000 to 2001, and Alumni Director of Cleveland Clinic’s Imaging Institute from 2004 to 2016. She is the editor of the Radiology Alumni Connection e-newsletter. Currently she serves as Secretary of Alumni Membership on the Alumni Executive Board. 

Since 2017, she has been a board member of the Academy of Medicine of Cleveland & Northern Ohio (AMCNO), one of the largest regional medical associations in the U.S. Dr. Kwok supports AMCNO’s mission of advocating for physicians and their patients and promoting the practice of the highest quality of medicine.

Dr. Kwok has made a firm commitment to Cleveland Clinic as her medical home. Believing in “Patients First,” she feels privileged to work with many talented, devoted people who are making the world a healthier place. She believes in teamwork and is dedicated to giving each of her patients the best care possible.
