Cleveland Clinic strives to make scientific advances that will benefit patient care and support outside relationships that promise public benefit. In order for the discoveries of Cleveland Clinic physicians' and scientists' laboratories and investigations to benefit the public, these discoveries must be commercialized in partnership with industry. To assure professional and commercial integrity in such matters, Cleveland Clinic maintains a program that reviews these collaborations and, when appropriate, puts measures in place to minimize bias that may result from ties to industry. Cleveland Clinic publicly discloses the names of companies when (i) its physicians/scientists receive $5,000 or more per year (or, in rare cases, equity or stock options) for speaking and consulting, (ii) its physicians/scientists serve as a fiduciary, (iii) its physicians/scientists receive or have the right to receive royalties or (iv) its physicians/ scientists hold any equity interest for the physician's/scientist's role as inventor, discoverer, developer, founder or consultant.* In publicly disclosing this information, Cleveland Clinic tries to provide information as accurately as possible about its physicians' and scientists' connections with industry.

Dr Thakore did a neurologic exam and discussed that he feels confident that I do not have neuropathy and said that there may be other conditions that may cause my symptoms and that he was requesting some MRI's to check to see what may be causing my problems. He was very professional and I am looking forward to see what the outcome from these tests

Not only did Dr. Thakore spend a tremendous amount of time discussing my medical issue, he was extremely through in his examination, ordered extensive blood test to assist my up coming appointment with hematology which allowed my hematology appt to be impactful because they already had all the results from the testing he ordered. His knowledge of how to handle my appointment with him and my upcoming appointment was exactly the best protocol and my wife and I are very grateful for his ability to provide excellent care, demonstrate empathy and navigate the medical process effectively.

Dr. N. Thakare was Excellent Good listener.

Reviewed on Jan 7, 2021

Dr. Thakore and Dr. Duchanski (the neurology fellow/specialist) provided best-in-class care. They were both friendly, courteous, polite, attentive, and knowledgeable. I was impressed with the care I received and how they explained medical concepts in laymen's terms so I, a non-healthcare worker, could understand what they believed the diagnosis to be and why. I left with a sense of relief and a definitive plan of action. Thank you to both of them!
