Biography

About Deepanjana Das, MD

Dr. Deepanjana “Dee” Das is an Associate Staff Physician at the Cleveland Clinic Women’s Institute in the Division of Urogynecology and Reconstructive Pelvic Surgery. She specializes in the treatment of pelvic organ prolapse, stress urinary incontinence, and overactive bladder, as well as complex pelvic health disorders like recurrent urinary tract infections, interstitial cystitis/painful bladder syndrome, rectovaginal and vesicovaginal fistulas, and genitourinary syndrome of menopause.  

Dr. Das earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Zoology with a minor in Neuroscience at Miami University of Ohio. She then obtained her medical degree at the University of Virginia in Charlottesville, Virginia. She completed her residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at the Cleveland Clinic and her fellowship in Urogynecology and Reconstructive Pelvic Surgery at Northwestern University in Chicago, Illinois.  

Dr. Das’ research interests focus on studying patient-centered outcomes in urogynecology. She also has a special interest in providing care to women with childbirth injury and pelvic floor complaints after delivery. She is involved in national committees for the American Urogynecologic Society and the American College of Surgeons.  

Dr. Das sees patients at Cleveland Clinic Main Campus and Fairview Campus. She specializes in minimally invasive surgical techniques for pelvic reconstructive surgery, including robotic-assisted laparoscopic surgery, laparoscopic surgery, and vaginal surgery. She is passionate about partnering with her patients to provide individualized and evidence-based care for pelvic floor disorders.

Dr, PA and nurse in office all were very nice especially the intake nurse. But my scores are all clouded with being sent home from hospital before I should have gone home and the pain that caused me to return the next day to emergency.
