My consult was for vascular surgery but I first got the appointment for vascular medicine I think. I was called a few days before my appointment and told the doctor does not handle that matter. I had to get a new appointment which ended up being the same month but it was very frustrating.

Dr. Hanak was very thorough in explaining the results of my venogram and even drew a picture to help me understand what was going on with the blockage from my previous surgeries and medical procedures. That was especially helpful She also explained what would happen next.

Dr. Hanak spent the amount of time necessary to explain the issues of associated with the results of my initial test and quickly ordered a follow on test to see if there was a problem with a procedure that had been done a few months ago. When that was not a cause of the problem, she and I discussed our next steps. We both came to a mutual decision that we both felt comfortable with. She involved me in the process to determine what came next which is a rare trait in many Doctor's profile. I see many Doctor's. Dr. Hanak is quite special. I don't always like the content of her message, but I do appreciate her delivery style.
