This was my first appointment with Shirley Yee and I was very pleased. She was very professional and friendly. She apologized for being a little late but I understood and had no problem. I was able to make my next appointment with her for next year.

I couldn't have been more impressed by Dr Yee. She was friendly, professional and courteous. She explained everything as she performed the exam and the recommended procedure. Her technique performing lidocaine injections prior to the biopsy was new to me, and I felt very little during the injection and nothing during the biopsy.

Big fan of Dr Yee! Cancer screens make me nervous and she put me at ease. A partner rather than a lecturer. I learned so much and felt comfortable in the room with dr and nurse. I felt I could ask all my questions.

Shirley couldn't have been kinder or a more caring provider! She also explained what she was doing and what she found. Since I was rescheduled at Middleburg, I had no idea who she was, but she was awesome. If she saw patients closer to home, I'd switch to her in a heartbeat.

The physician assistant was in my room/spoke with me for no more than 5 min. It was the most rushed doctor visit I have experienced probably in my life. She was perfectly pleasant. However, I was never made to feel like we could have a conversation or talk about overall dermatology needs or history. Instead of making me feel like I mattered or that my overall health was something to discuss, the whole appointment was rushed and lacked any human care.

Dr. Shirley Lee was a pleasant improvement. She took time to answer my questions, did not get defensive when I made some comments about not wanting to be a guinea pig with treatment, and went out of her way, above my expectations to make sure I knew she cared about me as a patient, not some number. I told her I hope she's my dermatologist physician in the future!

Any concerns I had about Dr. Lee being a Resident in training and not a fully qualified Dr., were quickly dispelled. She is fully qualified for her treatment of my condition. Really attentive to my anxiety, she put me at ease with her manner. No ego, great doctoring!
