Industry Relationships
Cleveland Clinic physicians and scientists may collaborate with the pharmaceutical or medical device industries to help develop medical breakthroughs or provide medical expertise or education. Cleveland Clinic strives to make scientific advances that will benefit patient care and support outside relationships that promise public benefit. In order for the discoveries of Cleveland Clinic physicians' and scientists' laboratories and investigations to benefit the public, these discoveries must be commercialized in partnership with industry. As experts in their fields, Cleveland Clinic physicians and scientists are often sought after by industry to consult, provide expertise and education.
To assure professional and commercial integrity in such matters, Cleveland Clinic maintains a program that reviews these collaborations and, when appropriate, puts measures in place to minimize bias that may result from ties to industry. Cleveland Clinic publicly discloses the names of companies when (i) its physicians/scientists receive $5,000 or more per year (or, in rare cases, equity or stock options) for speaking and consulting, (ii) its physicians/scientists serve as a fiduciary, (iii) its physicians/scientists receive or have the right to receive royalties or (iv) its physicians/ scientists hold any equity interest for the physician's/scientist's role as inventor, discoverer, developer, founder or consultant.* In publicly disclosing this information, Cleveland Clinic tries to provide information as accurately as possible about its physicians' and scientists' connections with industry.
As of 6/26/2024, Dr. Collins has reported no financial relationship with industry that is applicable to this listing. In general, patients should feel free to contact their doctor about any of the relationships and how the relationships are overseen by Cleveland Clinic. Dr. Collins is by far the best doctor I have seen at the Cleveland Clinic. This appointment is very vulnerable for women, and she was extremely kind, caring, and did not make me feel embarrassed about my concerns. She is very relatable and has excellent bed side manner, which most doctors lack. I used to hate going to gynecology visits, and Dr. Collins has totally changed this perspective for me. I highly recommend her!

Dr. Collins took the time necessary to listen to my concerns and then thoroughly explain treatment options. I felt like I was heard and all my questions were addressed in a kind, respectful manner.

I switched to Dr. Collins from another OB/GYN in Westlake who no longer showed interest in my care. It was the BEST choice I could have made. Dr. Collins is FANTASTIC! Not only did she take the time to discuss my issues and health, she Is KNOWLEDGEABLE about Menopause. Which is very new territory for me. Most important, after discussing recent US results and surgical recommendations from others, we decided that a surgical procedure was not necessary. If Dr. Collins ever leaves CC, I will follow her!

Like I said, I waited 70 minutes to be seen in total, and then she took about 7 minutes with me and rushed through my questions. For some of them, I felt like she wasn't even listening to me. Very nice and kind, I just expected more after waiting for so long.

Dr. Collins is one of the best providers I've seen, clinically and from a patient experience perspective, being a life long Clinic patient.

This appointment was easy to access because it was a follow up. Initially getting in to see a provider to discuss perimenopause is really tough with excessive wait times.
