Cleveland Clinic strives to make scientific advances that will benefit patient care and support outside relationships that promise public benefit. Cleveland Clinic publicly discloses the names of companies when (i) its physicians/scientists receive $5,000 or more per year (or, in rare cases, equity or stock options) for speaking and consulting, (ii) its physicians/scientists serve as a fiduciary, (iii) its physicians/scientists receive or have the right to receive royalties or (iv) its physicians/ scientists hold any equity interest for the physician's/scientist's role as inventor, discoverer, developer, founder or consultant.* In publicly disclosing this information, Cleveland Clinic tries to provide information as accurately as possible about its physicians' and scientists' connections with industry.

I appreciated that Dr. Bendaram listened, evaluated and came up with the next steps to my care based on my history. She offered to let me feel the nodule in my thyroid, which I thought was neat. She also made sure all of my questions were answered.

Dr. Bendaram is a consummate physician: empathetic, inquisitive, knowledgable, and kind. I have seen her twice now and feel very comfortable in her presence and care. She is quite focused on my blood work and CGM readings, and has made adjustments that have improved by daily CGM readings. She also responds to my questions about recent diabetic research with authority and clarity. She is already a great asset to Wooster.

I came in with a complex issue and some knowledge of test results she seemed concerned about the prior research but open to listening. A little rushed likely due to complexity and trying to develop plan forward on spot.

We drove 2 1/2 hrs for 5-10 min with Dr. She walked in and said I told my staff you don't have a cortisol issue. She could have looked at my labs prior and told me this on the phone. She seemed almost pleased with herself that she knew this so quickly. Smiled. My husband and I both had the same opinion. Really no help at all to me. No recommendations for my overall condition. I don't think she even looked at the whole picture. I was so very disappointed.

She was wonderful. Explained things to me and was very personable. I had seen another endocrinologist in Canton who was rude and disrespectful when I asked questions.. After having test she didn't want to answer questions or discuss my problem. Just want me to go with what they said... I'm glad we have a good endocrinologist in Wooster..

I asked for an appointment with provider who does biopsy. She scheduled me with correct provider but on wrong day, Doctor was not available to do biopsy on those day, because she had no access to sonogram equipment. Plus the person on the phone told me that the office is not to far away from Main Campus, only 10 minutes away from downtown of Cleveland, and it is located 1 hour away from Cleveland. So I was driving 3,5 hours from my house to those appointment and didn't get done what was hoping to get done, why I scheduled appointment. Was really frustrated.

She explained everything very well, and gave me a choice of how I want to proceed with my future care.
