Industry Relationships

Dr. Maggio and the staff was very professional and respectful throughout the my visit. I finally was able to schedule as a new patient after a year of waiting, but glad when I was able to get an appointment. I appreciate being able to have her as my doctor!

She was 30 minutes late, rushed the appointment and told her assistant to bill for 20 minutes. No skin cancer check, never been to her practice and wont go back

I cannot emphasize enough the kindness, thoroughness and professionalism with which I was treated. Dr. Maggie took her time with me at every turn and referred me to the provider she feels would be my best fit for my condition and I was able to get in within 2 weeks. So grateful for her help and knowledge.

A ten minute appt is not enough time to provide a thorough examination and address all my concerns. I should not have to make separate appt because the care team is limited to 10 minute visits. The Dr was wonderful but it's not fair to her and her patients.

I loved Dr. Maggio. The only thing I would say is I felt as if my appointment was a bit rushed, or that I couldn't say everything I needed to without feeling like I was on a strict time crunch. I do recognize that it might've been a busy day for her though. All in all I did really like her care for me and what I needed.

Care provider, doctor was very courtesy and respect. Doctor discussed with me all proposed treatment (options, risks, side effects benefits, etc.) and very cared for me as a person. I will recommending this care provider to others.

Dr Maggio spent approximately six (6) minutes in the room. I encountered a dangerous and unsafe situation in the room and told Dr. Maggio (see below). She did not acknowledge or address.Situation:While I was waiting for Dr. Maggio, the room went black. I was sitting on the exam chair, and my husband was sitting in a chair next to me. We both were startled and thought the entire facility had lost power (the MA had pulled the privacy curtain before leaving), and we could not see under the door. I did not have access to my cell phone (it was in my purse which was on the counter more than 6 feet away). My husband carefully stood up holding on to the exam table and walked a few steps forward. The lights went on. The above was reported to the Ombudsman at AGMC.

I suppose Dr. Maggio was acting professionally but she was clinical and not friendly. Maybe a personality trait. I was not impressed with her but her assistant was just the opposite. I need to go back for follow-up and whole body examination but I don't expect her demeanor to change.

Dr Maggio presented herself as very knowledgeable and decisive. She explained what my treatment would involve and decided which treatments would be beneficial for me. She also mentioned an alternative treatment should the current treatment does not show improvement in my condition.

She was not interested in trying to treat my eczema which during either of my 2 visit she did not look at. When asked about it while she kept trying to leave the room without discussing it she final told me I should take a picture of it so she could see it.
