Industry Relationships

Dr Kim was very pleasant and put me at my ease. She fully explained the need for my blood pressure medication and my need to inform her of any side effects and was careful to suggest a follow up before my plans to be in Canada this summer. A very caring and thorough doctor.

I am very happy with Dr.Young she showed a great deal of concern about my health issues,vs.Dr. Kighlinger my past PCP who did not express care didn't say my name and pounded her fist on her desk when I disagreed with her care due to her bed side manner,Dr.Young is a sincere doctor and I am thankful that I have a great doctor such as her

Dr Kim was very thorough with her examination and explained my blood pressure management very clearly to me. She was very pleasant and caring. She is a fairly new primary care physician for me (had my last PHCP for a number of years) but the changeover has been seamless.

Dr. Kim listened to my concerns and addressed them all. She asked me very specific follow-up questions which let me know that she was actually listening and I felt a part of my treatment. She trusted that I knew what was going on with my body. She didn't rush me, which is why I left UH - my doctor would have one foot out the door while I still had questions and concerns. Dr. Kim is nothing like that. The first time I saw her, I had to wait almost 30 minutes - normally that would upset me, but I realized she was taking time with a patient and I want the same for myself - which she has given me.

Dr. Kim is not a native English speaker, so her colloquial English skills are still developing. I initially wasn't sure that she understood everything I was telling her. Once I recognized this, I realized I'd be better off speaking to her in more formal terms. That worked out and I felt like we were able to have good discussion about my medical needs.
