Dr chichiura is very nice but both times I've seen her it's been very rushed and she seems busy. I had SLIS cells and the apt was for a follow upi don't even have test results for the purpose of the follow up which was to see if I still had abnormal cells. So looks like I showed up to this appointment for no reason

Dr. Chichura is the most compassionate physician I have ever met. I had full confidence in her. She answered every question, explained everything she was doing and why. I would absolutely recommend Dr. Chichura to anyone needing breast surgery. She is a gem!
Reviewed on Dec 4, 2023
Where to even start, Dr. Chichura is probably my favorite doctor I have ever met. She clearly cared about me as a person, she expressed understanding about my cancer far beyond her scope as a surgical oncologist, she ended up answering multiple medical oncology questions that I had. She thoroughly explained everything about the surgical assessment and planning. Regarding decisions about care, she asked me so many questions, and when I told her I want a double mastectomy, she said of course. This is in contrast to the surgical oncologist I saw at Ohio State who discouraged me and made me feel like he wouldn't give me a double mastectomy, or at least that I was going to have to argue with him at some point if I had it done there. Dr. Chichura explained all the risks and benefits of different options. She went way beyond that though, she told me to message her any questions about my cancer, including about medical oncology and she would help me get the answers I need. I would recommend her to anyone, anywhere who needs breast surgery, and I plan to travel to the Cleveland Clinic (7 hours roundtrip) so that she can do my surgery.
Reviewed on Dec 4, 2023
Omg I came in for 2 appointments, I drove 7 hours roundtrip and they knew it, and I think I had 6 or 7 appointments - I know this must have been a massive undertaking to coordinate the schedules of so many physicians, and not only that, but sometimes more than one of them was there at one time, and they were always friendly and collegial with one another and there was never any friction of any kind. Everyone was focused on making sure I got the appointments I needed and they worked together seamlessly
Reviewed on Nov 30, 2023
The doctor came to the appointment directly from surgery which I know is quite a trek. She examined me and gave me a hug goodbye. She I a mi very caring person.
