Leah fit me into the schedule and reiterated that the delay was not my fault. She consulted the MD and ended up doing a biopsy on a face lesion. She explained why and made sure I was comfortable with the reasons. She also made sure the biopsy area was numb.

Leah Szemon, NP Is a wonderful healthcare provider. She communicates well, Is caring, explains everything very well, has great knowledge and expertise, does a phenomenal job in treating my problem, and takes the time needed...she is great! The PA was very thorough, in fact it was like no other skin checked I've had. One provided info for all my concerns & treated one area that day, with suggestions for 2 other. I was so happy with the visit I scheduled 3 of my family members to see this PA for later this year.

After I stated my complaint and was examined, we discussed the treatment options -- and reached a shared decision regarding the method and course of treatment. I was completely staisfied with the outcome; especially knowing that If the proposed treatment did not remedy the problem, I could get further advice.

Leah is amazing, she has a great personality and she is absolutely perfect at her job. I have never experienced a doctor like her, I was totally comfortable and relaxed and left with a feeling of happiness. Leah just makes a person feel good, her personality lights up the room. Cleveland Clinic is privileged to have her as a caregiver. I tell everyone I know about my amazing experience because of her. Please give her recognition the she deserves.

I felt like a million dollars after leaving this appointment. She was so thorough and went above and beyond explaining and treating my issues. I have suffered so long and she helped alleviate my issues immediately and kindly. A lot of doctors could use a lesson from her regarding bedside manners!!!

My caregiver - Leah was just TERRIFIC!! Both extremely knowledgeable and extremely friendly. I never had a moment where I felt she didn't have my best Interest at heart. Leah not only did a great of job of explaining things but she displayed great empathy and compassion and helped me deal with the situation in a most professional and caring manner, which allayed my worst fears. I remain so appreciative, and grateful for the care Leah provided me on that difficult day.

The NP introduced herself and the nurse who was going to put notes in the chart as Leah did the exam. Leah is very friendly and gentle. She verbalized what she was seeing and her level of concern. I am very happy that practitioners are using virtual scribes or others to complete the appointment notes.

Extremely positive experience. I'll simple break down my impression of the provider like this: Knowledgeable, thorough, friendly, efficient, respectful, and I was given a precise, clear explanation of the various treatment options. I made my choice and she executed as described and I was out of there. I should add that I was late to my appointment and instead of turning me away she said she would get to me after her scheduled appointments, which she did. This saved me well over an hour of driving time to make a return visit on another day.

Leah is excellent. I have a recalcitrant rash and she even called in the MD in the office to look at it and consult on it. I think it's very professional of her to get a second opinion. I was very impressed by her putting my care first.
