Only answering test questions if there is a change in treatment is not sufficient. Patients want to know what the test mean......

The time with Dr. Koczab was great. Very informative, and I really like her. Dealing with MyChart is not simple and is very stressful. I have learned a lot about how to use it, but it is still a real challenge. Not being able to reply to messages and having to do it some other way is very time and energy-consuming. It really taxes my already stressed nervous system. Having to call frequently (I've been told I can do it everyday) to make a follow-up appointment is also very time and energy-draining and usually fruitless. It has only worked one time -- when Amanda got me and my husband appts after we learned that Dr. Koczab was booked through this year.

I really like Dr. Koczab and did at our initial meeting. We clicked in many ways. It's the Cleveland Clinic/MyChart process that is so difficult and stressful, aside from all my physical Issues. Learning where information, etc goes there takes phone calls, questions, and a very good memory, which is hard to remember, especially when I try not to do it anymore than I feel necessary.

Dr Koczab was awesome !! She was thorough, incredibly knowledgeable and fixed the pain in my hip, which previously was seen and unaddressed by an orthopedic doctor and physical therapist. She also changed my multivitamin, recommended relevant books, and recommended a clinical study for further investigation. I would recommend her without hesitation.

Appointments are extremely difficult to het /there is not a system that takes into account the need for follow in a reasonable time /I have waited 5 months to discuss tests that were ordered at a first alpine ent but there were no appointments available/by the time you are able to see the doctor the tests old tests /results could have become invalid. Finding out when the new appointment schedule Is available requires repeated calls hoping

Re: Ability to get an appointment for when I need/want...This is not a reflection on Dr. Koczab but I'm sure on the demand for her/other FM practitioners' time. I know so many people who need access to a functional medicine practitioner but there are currently too few for the growing demand. Please support the CCCFM as well as training and hiring of new FM physicians...they saved my life (when 16+ others I saw In Chicago over a 2 1/2 year period could not) and are doing amazing work with my 13 year old daughter.
