Cleveland Clinic physicians and scientists may collaborate with the pharmaceutical or medical device industries to help develop medical breakthroughs or provide medical expertise or education. Cleveland Clinic strives to make scientific advances that will benefit patient care and support outside relationships that promise public benefit. In order for the discoveries of Cleveland Clinic physicians' and scientists' laboratories and investigations to benefit the public, these discoveries must be commercialized in partnership with industry. As experts in their fields, Cleveland Clinic physicians and scientists are often sought after by industry to consult, provide expertise and education.

To assure professional and commercial integrity in such matters, Cleveland Clinic maintains a program that reviews these collaborations and, when appropriate, puts measures in place to minimize bias that may result from ties to industry. Cleveland Clinic publicly discloses the names of companies when (i) its physicians/scientists receive $5,000 or more per year (or, in rare cases, equity or stock options) for speaking and consulting, (ii) its physicians/scientists serve as a fiduciary, (iii) its physicians/scientists receive or have the right to receive royalties or (iv) its physicians/ scientists hold any equity interest for the physician's/scientist's role as inventor, discoverer, developer, founder or consultant.* In publicly disclosing this information, Cleveland Clinic tries to provide information as accurately as possible about its physicians' and scientists' connections with industry.

As of 6/27/2024, Dr. Nas has reported the financial relationships with the companies listed below. In general, patients should feel free to contact their doctor about any of the relationships and how the relationships are overseen by Cleveland Clinic. I so appreciate this doctor. She is new to the team but she still provides the compassionate knowledgeable care I have received from other physicians on this team throughout the many years as a patient in this department. I feel safe with these caregivers. As I grow older with additional health issues, that is not always the case.

My dr wanted cardiac first. However I couldn't get until Jan 31-so I was waiting and went to other appointments first. Then I get a call just last week--we have to cancel, doctor has to be on hospital duty(2 weeks every month). I asked why the scheduler wasn't aware of this in the first place,! Now I'm scheduled for February 14!

There are no words to adequately say how wonderful Dr. Nas has been and how blessed I am to have found her to be my pulmonologist for a new devastating diagnosis. She saved my life the first time she saw me by calling EMS to have me taken to the ED, insisting on me being admitted. From that day, she has been not only following me from behind the scenes, but she has been in constant communication with my Rheumatologist Dr. Ambreesh Chawla, and my PCP Dr. Saadia Hussain (who are both also amazing) about my case.
