eye Dr. was very busy but is well worth the wait. he's very informative and professional

Reviewed on Jun 20, 2018

I always come away feeling very well informed of my health conditions when with Dr. Millstein. He explains my progress from my last visit and where I am at with my Glacoma in respect to what he sees am during the present office visit. He is always attentive to any question(s) I may have and answers it so I can easily understand the answer. As for ease of waiting on clinic phone being just good, I understand there are patients before me and on certain days the wait might be longer than I hoped, but again it's understandable and I can deal with it with ease.

Dr. Millstein is always thorough, respectful and updates on any changes and our plan concerning any changes. it was discovered, when I said I seem to keep thinking my glasses were dirty, that cataracts is beginning and my eyes have changed. We discussed our plan to get new prescription for my glasses and watch the cataracts and see how it progresses and made an appointment for 6 months. I walked away well informed and happy with his plan. He is purposeful and not rushing to make a quick fix or decision. Very happy with him as my doctor and would highly recommend him.

I would have liked the provider to give me written information about the diagnosis and treatment, such as an after visit summary. He described my condition but did not provide the medical name; I discovered this from my internist at a previous visit; I wish that he would have provided the name.

The providers who treated me at this visit made me feel like they cared about my concerns and were very patient with my questions. Trust me. Not all Healthcare providers feel that way. When I leave Dr. M's office I feel like a "real person" not just a number.

Dr. Millstein is absolutely phenomenal! His assistant/nurse was extremely accommodating in her successful effort to 'bring' the testing equipment in the room and used herself s a target in keeping my dad engaged and focused. Dr. Millstein has a very calm and soothing voice which represented a lot of compassion, empathy, and respect at the same time. I have found for some providers, it's difficult for them to communicate with a dementia patient as effectively as he did.. KUDOS to Dr. Millstein and his assistant Carol!
