Cara D. Dolin, MD, MPH is a Maternal Fetal Medicine Specialist at Cleveland Clinic and is an Assistant Professor of Reproductive Biology at the Cleveland Clinic Lerner College of Medicine, Case Western Reserve University. Dr. Dolin received a Bachelor of Science degree in Nutrition and Food Science from Drexel University and her Medical Degree from the Sidney Kimmel Medical College of Thomas Jefferson University. She completed residency training in Obstetrics and Gynecology and fellowship in Maternal Fetal Medicine at New York University Langone Health. She also received a Master of Public Health in Public Health Nutrition from the New York University School of Global Public Health.
Dr. Dolin’s clinical and research interests are focused on improving our understanding of maternal nutrition and metabolic disorders in pregnancy. Her work focuses on the effect of food and nutrition on health outcomes, specifically the impact of diet across the reproductive life course. Dr. Dolin has published in peer-reviewed journals and medical textbooks, received multiple research grants, and serves as a reviewer for multiple journals in Obstetrics and Maternal Fetal Medicine. Nationally, she serves as a member of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology’s Nutrition Expert Work Group. Within the Cleveland Clinic Dr. Dolin helps to lead the Diabetes in Pregnancy Program and enjoys helping patients navigate through complicated pregnancies.
