I needed to get an carotid artery scan which was recommended due to a possible TIA. I could not get the scan for 2.5 weeks. Dr. Smith indicated to me that all was fine with the carotid scans and he recommended a brain MRI to see a complete picture of blood flow through the brain. I appreciated his expertise in recommending a further procedure but again it took another 2.5 weeks to get in for the MRI.
