Cleveland Clinic physicians and scientists may collaborate with the pharmaceutical or medical device industries to help develop medical breakthroughs or provide medical expertise or education. Cleveland Clinic strives to make scientific advances that will benefit patient care and support outside relationships that promise public benefit. Cleveland Clinic publicly discloses the names of companies when (i) its physicians/scientists receive $5,000 or more per year (or, in rare cases, equity or stock options) for speaking and consulting, (ii) its physicians/scientists serve as a fiduciary, (iii) its physicians/scientists receive or have the right to receive royalties or (iv) its physicians/ scientists hold any equity interest for the physician's/scientist's role as inventor, discoverer, developer, founder or consultant.* In publicly disclosing this information, Cleveland Clinic tries to provide information as accurately as possible about its physicians' and scientists' connections with industry.

This was the first appointment I had with Dr. Erossey, and I drove 4 hours one way to see him to discuss an ongoing problem I was having due to an orthopedic surgery I had in my local area. All I can say Is that Dr. Erossey was amazing, and after my appointment, I contacted my orthopedic surgeon In my local area and let them know that he would now be seeing Dr. Erossey For all of my orthopedic care moving forward. He was so kind and listened to everything I had to say..he Immediately ordered an x-ray before coming Into the room to see me. I was very anxious about what was happening with my right knee six months after a TKR as my current surgeon was not listening to my concerns and rushed in and out in five minutes during my appointments. I NEVER felt his way during my appointment with Dr. Erossey..he was so great! He listened to all of my concerns, explained my x-rays in a way that I understood, created a plan of care with me based on what he was seeing and my exam. I never felt rushed or that he was trying to hurry up and get to his next patient. I was so impressed with his kindness and willingness to find out why I was having the issues I was having and I felt I had more answers in the time he spent with me than in the 6 months I had with the surgeon and PA who did my TKR. I recommend him to anyone and I will be seeing him again in a few months to check my progress. I had also been given some misinformation from my previous surgeon that he said is a cause to have another TKR on my other knee but the x-rays Dr. Erossey had done showed there was not a reason for that to occur. There is such great care provided at the CC, and I will always make the eight-hour round trip to see Dr. Erossey. He is a FANTASTIC physician with a great bedside manner!!
