About Fernando Pablo Secin, MD

Dr. Fernando Secin is a urologist specializing in Urologic Oncology, which focuses on the treatment of urologic cancers.

Dr. Secin completed his primary and secondary schooling at Saint John Baptiste de la Salle School in Buenos Aires, Argentina. He then pursued his medical education at the University of Buenos Aires, School of Medicine, where he obtained his Medical Doctor degree with distinction.

Following medical school, Dr. Secin completed his General Surgery Residency at the Centro de Educación Médica e Investigaciones Clínicas (CEMIC) University Hospital in Buenos Aires. He further honed his skills as a Chief Resident in General Surgery at CEMIC. Subsequently, he pursued a Urology Residency at CEMIC, where he gained comprehensive knowledge and experience in urological conditions.

Dr. Secin's dedication to academic excellence led him to earn his Ph.D. in 2003. To further enhance his expertise in Urologic Oncology, Dr. Secin completed a Clinical and Research Fellowship at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center in New York. This allowed him to deepen his understanding of urologic cancers and their treatment.

Dr. Secin's contributions to the field extend beyond his clinical work. He has taken on leadership roles, including serving on the Innovation Committee of Societe International d'Urologie. Additionally, he holds the position of Associate Professor of Urology at the University of Buenos Aires School of Medicine, where he actively contributes to the education and training of future urologists.

Dr. Secin's research interests primarily revolve around Urologic Oncology, with a focus on advancing our understanding of urologic cancers and improving treatment outcomes for patients. His dedication to research has been recognized through numerous awards and grants, acknowledging his contributions to the field.

I am 65 yrs old and Dr. Secin is one of the Best doctors I have had the honor of being a patient. Very compassionate, patient, thorough. He was well aware my history with kidney cancer upon entering the exam room. I didn't have to explain anything. I highly recommend he be retained by CC at all costs. He is a gem.
