She also is involved in the national patient engagement committee to provide education and engagement for this study surrounding postpartum cardiomyopathy.

About Dr. Hoffman "I enjoy caring for advanced heart failure and transplant patients because I have the opportunity to build longstanding relationships with my patients and take care of them when they are at their most vulnerable state. It is a honor and privilege to take care of these patients, and I do not take this responsibility for granted.”

All of them in this appointment were just wonderful, kind and helpful and very encouraging a Dr. Hoffman was very sweet and gave a very good explanation simple enough for even me to understand and get the true feeling of what is wrong with my heart. I was very impressed with all of them the way they handled me and the test. It was painful, but they were so kind and understanding and encouraged me to do my best to get the best reading. I cannot say how much I am so thankful for all of them for being so good to me and helping me.

The care there was outstanding like I said, the only thing I did not feel good about was the cardiologist doctor, Irwin or Everin, or something like that , he needs a check on his bedside manner. He did not listen. He kept cutting me off, and he poo, poo anything I said about me, knowing how my body feels, and that something was very wrong. He had very strong opinions and I didn't feel they came across with kindness and care, but that did not deter me from saying I had good treatment there, Dr. Vargo was absolutely wonderful and his office was outstanding and taking care of me KATYA, his administrative assistant and his nurse were just wonderful kind patient and truly I so wish they could have surgically fix this and I'd go home with better health but what is wrong they cannot fix, but I went home with calmness and peace in my heart. At least I know what it is and how to live with it and how to face it
