About Balint Laczay, MD

Balint Laczay, MD, is an electrophysiologist in the Section of Regional Cardiovascular Medicine of The Tomsich Family Department of Cardiovascular Medicine, Miller Family Heart, Vascular & Thoracic Institute. He sees patients at Euclid Hospital and Hillcrest Medical Office Building II and performs procedures at Hillcrest Hospital.

Education: Dr. Laczay is a graduate of Feinberg School of Medicine, Northwestern University, Chicago. He completed his internal medicine residency through the Osler Medical Residency Training Program at The Johns Hopkins Hospital, Baltimore, followed by a cardiovascular medicine fellowship at Cleveland Clinic, where he served as chief fellow in his final year. He completed his training at Cleveland Clinic with a fellowship in cardiac electrophysiology.

Dr. Laczay joined the Cleveland Clinic medical staff in 2024 following his electrophysiology fellowship. 

Research, Publications and Speaking: Dr. Laczay is a coauthor on scientific papers published in cardiology and electrophysiology journals, primarily related to research on the latest advances in electrophysiology and cardiac device therapies.
