Cleveland Clinic physicians and scientists may collaborate with the pharmaceutical or medical device industries to help develop medical breakthroughs or provide medical expertise or education. Cleveland Clinic strives to make scientific advances that will benefit patient care and support outside relationships that promise public benefit. In order for the discoveries of Cleveland Clinic physicians' and scientists' laboratories and investigations to benefit the public, these discoveries must be commercialized in partnership with industry. As experts in their fields, Cleveland Clinic physicians and scientists are often sought after by industry to consult, provide expertise and education.

To assure professional and commercial integrity in such matters, Cleveland Clinic maintains a program that reviews these collaborations and, when appropriate, puts measures in place to minimize bias that may result from ties to industry. Cleveland Clinic publicly discloses the names of companies when (i) its physicians/scientists receive $5,000 or more per year (or, in rare cases, equity or stock options) for speaking and consulting, (ii) its physicians/scientists serve as a fiduciary, (iii) its physicians/scientists receive or have the right to receive royalties or (iv) its physicians/ scientists hold any equity interest for the physician's/scientist's role as inventor, discoverer, developer, founder or consultant.* In publicly disclosing this information, Cleveland Clinic tries to provide information as accurately as possible about its physicians' and scientists' connections with industry.

As of 11/2/2020, Dr. Strong has reported no financial relationship with industry that is applicable to this listing. After months of worrying about my son's condition and after feeling as if my son's other doctors (oncologist and dermatologist) were giving up on helping with the situation, Dr Stong was a breath of fresh air. He listened, shared concern, and is putting forth effort to help us possibly find answers. Even if its not the answers we want, we are confident hearing there's no solution if it comes from Dr. Strong. His willingness to fight this problem with us means the world. We are so thankful he wants to consult with other physicians to find some kind, if any, solution.

Reviewed on Jun 18, 2020

we absolutely love the care we receive from Dr. Strong. He takes the time to get to know us and more importantly our son, and makes you feel as though he truly cares, rather than being just another one of his patients. he's so busy but takes the time to talk with you and ensure you've gotten everything you need from the appointment. we are so grateful for Dr. Strong.

Reviewed on Jun 16, 2020

Dr. Strong is extremely thorough both in his examinations and his explanations, we never feel like we are "just a number" to him or that he doesn't have time for us.

Reviewed on Jun 16, 2020

although I mentioned that Dr. Strong doesn't make us feel like we are just a number, the overall operation of the clinic does. Not being able to call and speak to a local nurse is part of the reason for that. I don't feel that the clinic as a whole represents the quality the care we receive from Dr. Strong.

Reviewed on Jun 12, 2020

Dr. Strong explained everything very clearly and we left feeling well informed.
