This care provider had a resident who was not as empathetic to us as new parents trying to get some answers to our questions. I understand that she is learning, but she made us feel like we were doing everything wrong and that all his numbers were bad. but then the dr came in and made us feel better and all was ok.

The provider was almost dismissive and stated there's really nothing that could be done and see what happens with the blood test. We accommodated our schedule for dialogue we already had with the nurse practitioner that was more thorough. In addition, I followed up with dialogue via MyChart and it was clear she wasn't reading my short communications because I had to finally ask her to address my ask regarding my daughter's cough.
