To assure professional and commercial integrity in such matters, Cleveland Clinic maintains a program that reviews these collaborations and, when appropriate, puts measures in place to minimize bias that may result from ties to industry. Cleveland Clinic publicly discloses the names of companies when (i) its physicians/scientists receive $5,000 or more per year (or, in rare cases, equity or stock options) for speaking and consulting, (ii) its physicians/scientists serve as a fiduciary, (iii) its physicians/scientists receive or have the right to receive royalties or (iv) its physicians/ scientists hold any equity interest for the physician's/scientist's role as inventor, discoverer, developer, founder or consultant.* In publicly disclosing this information, Cleveland Clinic tries to provide information as accurately as possible about its physicians' and scientists' connections with industry.

Dr. NEMUNAITIS is the best doctor I have had since becoming ill in 03/2017. Until meeting him my care at Cleveland Clinic sucked and I ended up becoming paralyzed. He has provided the peace of mind that had been missing in my care. If it wasn't for Dr. NEMUNAITIS I would no longer come to Cleveland Clinic. They advertise "World Class Care" why was I told nothing was wrong on4/26/20 and paralyzed 6 days later? How would you feel???

Dr. Nemunaitis is one of the best doctors I've ever had. After leaving in-patient rehab for an incomplete spinal cord injury, I was basically on my own to figure it out. I was sent by PCP to a pain management doctor who asked a couple questions and decided treatment would be spinal injections, which gave some very temporary relief for my 24/7 pain. Dr. Nemunaitis did a full exam, looked at MRI images, and started an appropriate and much less invasive plan of treatment. He always listens to questions and gives good explanations. He also allows me to be a primary part of my own plan of care. I would highly recommend him for anyone with spinal cord injury issues.

I have been in constant pain since July of 2019. I have seen over 10 doctors trying to get anyone to listen and help me get to a point that I can live with constant pain. I have only had one appointment with Dr. Nemunaitis and recieved more hope than I have ever recieved. I finally feel like my voice is being heard. I am so excited to have finally found a doctor that actually cares about his patients. Finally a doctor that takes time to listen and actually cares. I have been looking for that actually cares. I'm very excited to see where this leads. I believe in him and his team. I can not thank his team enough for listening and not giving me the usual give it another year of healing because they don't want to figure it out. It is hard to find a real doctor these days.
