This visit with Dr. Mayer was the best, in all aspects, that I have EVER had at the Cleveland Clinic Rockside Rd- with ANY OTHER PHYSICIAN! I was treated, for the FIRST TIME, as a real human being! Previously, most of the other physicians have created me coldly and with thinly vailed indifference.

PA Mayer was very thorough in the discussion of the results of the echo-cardiogram and explained the issues involved and treatment alternatives. Her manner was professional and friendly. She would be an excellent cardiologist.

Maureen Mayer does an excellent job. She takes the time to thoroughly explain everything in a manner I can understand. I'm always happy when I can be seen by her for my appointment. She truly represents the Clinc in a positive light. She is how a provider should engage with clients.

Though I thought Fairview missed the pericarditis diagnosis, Dr. Rubin coupled my input with that of Fairview and immediately initiated the PC protocol. With Maureen overseeing my care, I am responding well, looking forward to complete recovery, while aiming to minimize probability of recurrence.
