Yet again, I had an appointment scheduled for a yearly physical with Dr. Hughes and the Cleveland clinic called to cancel it. I had to wait 6 months to get another one. CCHS overbooks its doctors. I don't want a physical from a doctor that isn't mine. Dr. Hughes knows me. I shouldn't have to wait 6 months to reschedule an appointment I had that YOU cancelled. It isn't good for my health.

It is very difficult with the questions to make an appointment on MyChart. Last year I made my wellness appt in person (in March) and asked for (it's annual, right??) April. She said the dr didn't have anything until June. I thought this was odd, and later checked on MyChart and found she made it for the same year, not the next

It seemed like there were bandwidth problems on the Cleveland Clinic side of the visit. Dr. Hughes audio broke up a number of times and his image froze a few times. I'm grateful that I had the telemedicine option to discuss my COVID with Dr. Hughes, my primary care physician. But it seems like the clinic needs to throw a few more technical resources at this area.

Dr. Hughes is very good but very hard to schedule an appointment with him as he seems to be overbooked. While a friend might get great care I would be hesitant to recommend him to a friend as it would make it even more difficult to schedule an appointment.

I'm a very perplexing case but I love Dr. Hughes and my Mom loved him too before she died. He is so calm and listens and tries to help and never makes you feel like he is talking down to you or trying to shoo you out. And he tries to solve things. He is an exceptional doctor.

Dr Hughes is thorough, helpful, knowledgeable, personable and attentive to my needs. He also followed up on my emergency room visit by scheduling a follow up appointment for me quickyly as soon as he saw the emergency room results. He is a great doctor!

Dr. Hughes examined a spot on my left ankle and recommended I see a dermatologist as soon as possible. An appointment was scheduled for the same day and a biopsy was done. The result was a basal cell carcinoma and surgery was scheduled for October 9. Without his encouragement I may have put off checking this out for some time. I truly appreciate his concern for me and my husband's wellbeing.

Making phone calls to Cleveland Clinic is a very trying experience! Wait times on hold have been as much as 30 plus minutes. On some occasions, I just gave up and have resorted to MyChart Dr messaging..Meeting with Dr Hughes though is another matter. He has to be the most patient, personable Dr that explains things and make sure one understands.
