About Gautam Shah, MD

Gautam Shah, MD, is a cardiologist in the Cleveland Clinic Regional Heart, Vascular & Thoracic Institute. He sees patients at West Valley Medical Building, 20455 Lorain Rd, Second Floor, Fairview Park, Ohio, and Lutheran Hospital.

He joined the Cleveland Clinic medical staff in 2019.

Experience: Dr. Shah is experienced in transthoracic echocardiography (TTE), trans-esophageal echocardiography (TEE), cardioversion, stress echocardiography, nuclear stress testing, nuclear cardiac imaging and vascular imaging.

Research and Publications: Dr. Shah has co-authored scientific papers in leading medical journals, including the American Journal of Cardiology. As a resident he spoke at national and international medical meetings, presenting on some of the latest research in which was an investigator.

Dr Shaw is a great doctor. He continued testing until the problem was found. I had a 90% blockage in an artery in my heart. Thanks to Dr Shaw's knowledge and continued interest and concern for my well-being, my problem was found and corrected. Big thanks to Dr Shaw !

Dr. Shah spoke willingly with my daughter on a speakerphone during my visit to explain thoroughly the cardiac catherization and transesophageal echocardiography and thwe importance of doing these procedures to enab;le him to make a good recommendation. She is my healthcare Power of Attorney.

I love Dr Shah! He's Brilliant, personable, and listgens to your needs, and spends time with me. Dr. Shah answered a lot of questions - I had quite a few - and explained the treatment plan going forward in a way I could understand. I was experiencing anxiety when I arrived, but felt much better after our appointment.
