I didn't speak to anyone except Dr. Mook. As I wrote on the previous page, I was very impressed with this doctor, because she is so nice, helpful, and knowledgeable.

Dr Mook is very determined and diligent with my health care needs. She takes my health and my quality of life personal. She has even made direct phone calls to me to check on me. I have never had anyone to medically care for me the way she has. She is a blessing from God that is making an impact and improvement on my life. I am beyond grateful for her and I truly hope the Cleveland Clinic understands what a treasure they have in Dr Amanda Mook.

I found Dr. Mook to be exceptional in educating me, examining me, discussing my conditions, concerns and treatments, and in her knowledge of treatments for my conditions. She also really listened to me. I've had some pretty bad experiences withvother doctors, so seeing someone like Dr. Mook was a very good experience.

I excellent experience at the hospital, quick and easy check-in. I the doctor asked very pertinent questions concerning my condition, explain things very clearly. Results of my MRI were available the next day and the doctor called me to go over the results In a very pleasant and thorough manner. all in all a very pleasant experience from start to finish.

I love Dr. Mook actually looked at me while I was answering her questions/talking. She listened and responded accordingly. She looks in you the eyes, and that's a big deal anymore with many physicians/care givers. They are just busy imputing on the computer.

Dr Mook was wonderful

I felt Dr. Mook listed well and understood my concerns. If one can enjoy a visit with a doctor, I did with this one. I already have recommended her to a friend.

Although another neurologist in Columbus OH gave the same diagnosis (for which I was seeking another opinion), Dr. Mook did so with an assessment that felt more thorough and with greater concern and, as a bonus, very pleasant. I understood the diagnosis and the treatment recommendations much better and with greater confidence.

Dr. Mook was was wonderful. She was caring, understanding, and informative. I didn't feel hurried at the appointment. And most of all she gave me hope.

Reviewed on Jul 24, 2019

I really like Dr. Mook's manner and knowledge base. as I look back, I'm disappointed that she was not more curious about why I had the symptoms I did. I stated that I want to know the cause of it so that I could take early intervention specific to the diagnosis so that I can take full advantage of neural plasticity. I am a nurse and I've read a little about it and want to preserve my health as much as I can. I do take that as a personal responsibility. However, I want my healthcare providers to be curious even though they're not as concerned as I can. I desire that they recognize my strong desire to maintain my health at the highest level possible. I could have been more assertive with Dr. Mook and pressed my desire for further testing. I think she's right and that it's not standard to do certain tasks at this point. However people are not looking at this yet in terms of neuro plasticity and our ability to take action early to slow down progression of disease or symptoms by the patient's actions rather than by medicine alone or my medicine at all. I am not seeking medicine or unnecessary tests. But I am looking for information that I can use to focus my actions on symptom -reducing methods I personally can utilize at home. I will make another appointment with Dr. Mook soon to discuss this. I don't think I made clear my commitment to do all I can to be as functional as possible.
