Cleveland Clinic physicians and scientists may collaborate with the pharmaceutical or medical device industries to help develop medical breakthroughs or provide medical expertise or education. Cleveland Clinic strives to make scientific advances that will benefit patient care and support outside relationships that promise public benefit. In order for the discoveries of Cleveland Clinic physicians' and scientists' laboratories and investigations to benefit the public, these discoveries must be commercialized in partnership with industry. As experts in their fields, Cleveland Clinic physicians and scientists are often sought after by industry to consult, provide expertise and education.

To assure professional and commercial integrity in such matters, Cleveland Clinic maintains a program that reviews these collaborations and, when appropriate, puts measures in place to minimize bias that may result from ties to industry. Cleveland Clinic publicly discloses the names of companies when (i) its physicians/scientists receive $5,000 or more per year (or, in rare cases, equity or stock options) for speaking and consulting, (ii) its physicians/scientists serve as a fiduciary, (iii) its physicians/scientists receive or have the right to receive royalties or (iv) its physicians/ scientists hold any equity interest for the physician's/scientist's role as inventor, discoverer, developer, founder or consultant.* In publicly disclosing this information, Cleveland Clinic tries to provide information as accurately as possible about its physicians' and scientists' connections with industry.

As of 12/15/2020, Dr. Qazi has reported no financial relationship with industry that is applicable to this listing. In general, patients should feel free to contact their doctor about any of the relationships and how the relationships are overseen by Cleveland Clinic. Just amazing! Dr. Qazi is just amazing, a very concerning doctor who is determined to help you get better. I am very happy and blessed he is my GI. He saved my life

Reviewed on Jul 29, 2021

Dr. Qazi and his team were incredibly. They explained what they were going to do, and both nurses in the procedure room were very attentive to my needs.

My provider and the Staff was very concern about my problem.

Was canceled the morning of my appointment with Dr Cohen because he was ill, and I already had driven in from out of town. But Dr Qazi was wonderful to fit me into a schedule

Reviewed on Jul 6, 2021

Dr Qazi was excellent. First of all, he fit me into his schedule for the day as my appointment with another provider was canceled due to an illness, but I was already in town from New York. He listened very well. He clearly delinated my options for me. And he went above and beyond and got me an appointment that very day with Dr Hull, when he saw that surgery was a valid option for my condition

Reviewed on Jun 30, 2021

Dr. Qazi showed no willingness to take the time and listen to my concerns. He was rushing me so much that I forgot half the symptoms I wanted to discuss. He would not let me finish my sentences at times and talked over me without showing any respect. He typed away aggressively without even speaking with me properly. The way he behaved is unbecoming of a physician and there is no point in seeing a doctor like him. He maybe very knowledgeable but that does not help if he shows complete disregard for patients. He ordered some tests without even explaining why I need them. Disappointed to say the least. I'll definitely tell all my friends and family to consult any other GI doctor but him.

Dr. Qazi was excellent. He listened and thoroughly explained and answered all the questions and made sure we understood everything about the upcoming procedure. He made me very comfortable and confident about the upcoming procedure.

Reviewed on Mar 31, 2021

The doctor took the time to gage how well I understood why I was seeing him and what the next steps would be.

Reviewed on Mar 12, 2021

The doctor is doing all he can due to my previous provider not releasing my medical files about my health condition. Unlike others he wants to help get my health on track and not just put me on any kind of medicine he thinks would help. He truly wants to help his patients.

Not even sure I saw the Doctor I was scheduled with. Was very rushed and felt like he was arguing with me instead of explaining things with me.

Dr. Qazi did an Excellent job in researching and explaining my prior historical medical findings with respect to treatment of my current problem during my visit, as well as the probable cause of my symptoms. Additionally, he offered some appropriate treatment modality recommendations to alleviate my symptomatology.

Reviewed on Dec 30, 2020

I was looking for a new GI doctor after suffering some ongoing issues over the past year. I was not happy with my previous doctor (not through Cleveland Clinic). Dr Qazi reviewed my history before our appt, discussed my issues with me and our game plan, and has been extremely responsive since then with delivering test results and updating me on our next steps. It is extremely encouraging to know he is really looking to help me resolve my issues.

This was my first and same day appointment with Dr. Qasi. I had a serious situation. He put into motion a series of tests and kept in contact with me through MyChart when the first of the test results came back.

Reviewed on Oct 6, 2020

He listened to me and did not dismiss symptoms just as IBS like other providers have. He took the time to rule out triggers as well as reaffirming I needed a EGD to find out what was wrong with my stomach and smallintestine.

Reviewed on Oct 2, 2020

had some difficulties with the virtual software. but I just say that talking the doctor was excellent. he was very kind. I've hit many brick walls through out this journey, and it was comforting to speak with a doctor who was not only willing to help, but to layout a good game plan. he settled my nerves on the issue, and left me optimistic about the future. I also had an email detailing the next steps in no time.

Reviewed on Oct 1, 2020

I really liked that Dr. Qazi considered other possibilities causing my symptoms of my already previously diagnosed illness rather than just the normal cookie cutter course of treatment. He appears to have the ability to think outside the box. I believe this approach is based on his vast knowledge and intelligence to put many pieces together.
