  • Dr. Sterman completed his undergraduate degrees at Miami University, Oxford Ohio, before obtaining his MD at The Ohio State University College of Medicine. He did his Otolaryngology residency at the Cleveland Clinic as well as a fellowship in Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery in St. Louis Missouri. Prior to moving to Akron, Dr. Sterman was on the faculty at Indiana University Medical School and then the Medical College of Wisconsin.


  • He is a fellow of the American Board of Otolaryngology, American Board of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery and the American College of Surgeons. He has several publications on various topics in Otolaryngology.

Dr. Sterman listened to my concerns and addressed all of them. he also allowed me to watch the video of the scope down my nasal cavity into my throat. Very cool. This also gave me a more clear vision into my cart moving forward.

It was my first visit I waited 2months to see this specialist when arriving in examining room he was rushing had a inturn observing his work which was fine but I felt rushed he forgot to clean my ears like he said because he was moving and rushing. please don't MIunderstand he was the nicest Dr ever and that means a lot to me but Ufelt rushed and I'm not clear in what he wants me to do
