Candace Leigh, MD, FACEP, is a Staff Physician in the Department of Emergency Medicine at Cleveland Clinic Akron General. She graduated from the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine and completed residency in Emergency Medicine at Metrohealth Medical Center and the Cleveland Clinic (Cleveland, Ohio).
Dr. Leigh is an academic emergency physician with interests in medical education, innovative patient-centered emergency care, clinical bioethics, palliative and end of life care, quality and patient safety. She is a Clinical Associate Professor of Emergency Medicine at Northeast Ohio Medical University (NEOMED) and teaches emergency medicine at the Cleveland Clinic Akron General Emergency Medicine Residency Program. She is board certified in Emergency Medicine and a Fellow of the American College of Emergency Physicians.
