Ashley Heaney, M.D. is an attending physician in the Department of Emergency Medicine at Cleveland Clinic Akron General. She has been in practice since 2016. She received her B.S. from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and her M.D. from The University of Cincinnati. She completed her residency training at The Ohio State University where she served as a chief resident. She is board certified by the American College of Emergency Physicians. She is an Assistant Professor of Emergency Medicine at Northeast Ohio Medical University and Adjunct Clinical Assistant Professor of Emergency Medicine at Ohio University College of Osteopathic Medicine. She currently serves as Assistant Clerkship Director for the Emergency Medicine Clerkship and Associate Program Director for Cleveland Clinic Akron General’s Emergency Medicine Residency.
Dr. Heaney is committed to medical education and excellent patient care. Her professional interests include sepsis, shock, women’s health and females in medicine.
