Biography

About Dane Genther, MD

Dane J. Genther, MD, earned his medical degree at the University of Michigan Medical School and completed a seven-year residency in Otolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery at The Johns Hopkins Hospital. He completed advanced fellowship training in Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at The Johns Hopkins Hospital and Oregon Health and Science University.

Dr. Genther specializes in plastic and reconstructive surgery of the face and performs a wide range of functional, reconstructive, and cosmetic procedures. His specialty interests include treatment of facial paralysis, Mohs skin cancer surgery repair, micro-vascular head and neck reconstruction, advanced facial reconstruction, and rhinoplasty.

He has published numerous journal articles on topics such as head and neck cancer reconstruction, treatment of facial paralysis, and rhinoplasty. He has also published multiple book chapters on various topics in facial plastic surgery such as facial reanimation and rhinoplasty.

Dr. Guenther was Exceptional!!! I previously went to a CC doc in Beachwood. I was about to go to another hospital but gave Dr. G a try. He listened amf investigated my problems better than any doc previously in the last 40 years! He is wonderful!!!

Dr. Genther did an amazing job fixing my nose. I highly recommend him. My before/after pictures of my nose are astounding. He is also very patient and understanding whenever I have questions during my appointment. The Cleveland Clinic is lucky to have him on their team. I can tell he strives for excellence in the area of patient care!
