Dr. El Hage is one of a kind. She is so realistic and encourages me to say what I am likely to follow up with or not. As she says, if I am not going to do the suggested treatment, she has different options. Better to find one that will work - I never had a doctor talk so honestly about expectations before.

Dr El Hage was very thorough in going over both my diabetes and thyroid issues. She presented options that my previous provider hadn't and I came away with a comprehensive short- and long-term plan. I think she spent more time with me in this appointment and gave more explanation and information than my previous endocrinologist did in my entire time with him!

I felt as though I was looked at as some girl who is just trying to lose weight. I was told by 2 doctors 5+ years ago that i was on the verge of having hypothyroid disease. When I tried to explain this I was interupted by "I can see your past results". My Chart goes back to 2016, but I was just trying to explain. I run 40+ miles a week and I am gaining weight rapidly (5 lbs 1 week, 3 lbs another, etc.). I have a family history, and other symptoms (always cold, hair falling out, fatigue, hormonal). Dr. ordered blood work but the feeling I got was just to appease me. Everything came back normal but I had to contact Dr. for explanation of results and no other follow up or further concern about the symptoms I'm experiencing. I felt embarrassed as if I wasted everyone's time. I am not some young woman just trying to lose weight....
