Industry Relationships
Cleveland Clinic physicians and scientists may collaborate with the pharmaceutical or medical device industries to help develop medical breakthroughs or provide medical expertise or education. Cleveland Clinic strives to make scientific advances that will benefit patient care and support outside relationships that promise public benefit. In order for the discoveries of Cleveland Clinic physicians' and scientists' laboratories and investigations to benefit the public, these discoveries must be commercialized in partnership with industry. As experts in their fields, Cleveland Clinic physicians and scientists are often sought after by industry to consult, provide expertise and education.
To assure professional and commercial integrity in such matters, Cleveland Clinic maintains a program that reviews these collaborations and, when appropriate, puts measures in place to minimize bias that may result from ties to industry. Cleveland Clinic publicly discloses the names of companies when (i) its physicians/scientists receive $5,000 or more per year (or, in rare cases, equity or stock options) for speaking and consulting, (ii) its physicians/scientists serve as a fiduciary, (iii) its physicians/scientists receive or have the right to receive royalties or (iv) its physicians/ scientists hold any equity interest for the physician's/scientist's role as inventor, discoverer, developer, founder or consultant.* In publicly disclosing this information, Cleveland Clinic tries to provide information as accurately as possible about its physicians' and scientists' connections with industry.
As of 11/21/2022, Dr. El Hage has reported no financial relationship with industry that is applicable to this listing. She is an awesome doctor and person!! I wouldn't want any other doctor to treat me. She is extremely knowledgeable, explains things in a way that makes sense to me and she is very kind. I'd give her a 15 on a scale of 1-10.

Dr. L Hage is amazing. I have not received the level of care and concern from other endocrinologists. Her staff, nurses and admins, are among the best the CCF has to offer.

Dr. El Hage is probably one of the best physicians I have seen. She really listened to me, my concerns, and empathized with my medical challenges and need to address my medical issues in short order. She helped me to process difficult decisions and gave me a moment to figure it out. She had my best interest at heart and was up front about what course of action would be best in the long run. I cannot say enough good things about that one visit, her superb expertise, and her ability to genuinely connect with her patients in an efficient way

Very good communication with dr elhage

My only complaint/issue was that Dr. EL Hage is very soft spoken. I could barely hear her (and the mask made it worse). I had to repeatedly ask her to speak louder. She seemed very uncomfortable speaking louder. Other than that she was nice, knowledgeable and took as much time as needed to review my test results and answer my questions.
