Cleveland Clinic physicians and scientists may collaborate with the pharmaceutical or medical device industries to help develop medical breakthroughs or provide medical expertise or education. Cleveland Clinic strives to make scientific advances that will benefit patient care and support outside relationships that promise public benefit. In order for the discoveries of Cleveland Clinic physicians' and scientists' laboratories and investigations to benefit the public, these discoveries must be commercialized in partnership with industry. As experts in their fields, Cleveland Clinic physicians and scientists are often sought after by industry to consult, provide expertise and education.
To assure professional and commercial integrity in such matters, Cleveland Clinic maintains a program that reviews these collaborations and, when appropriate, puts measures in place to minimize bias that may result from ties to industry. Cleveland Clinic publicly discloses the names of companies when (i) its physicians/scientists receive $5,000 or more per year (or, in rare cases, equity or stock options) for speaking and consulting, (ii) its physicians/scientists serve as a fiduciary, (iii) its physicians/scientists receive or have the right to receive royalties or (iv) its physicians/ scientists hold any equity interest for the physician's/scientist's role as inventor, discoverer, developer, founder or consultant.* In publicly disclosing this information, Cleveland Clinic tries to provide information as accurately as possible about its physicians' and scientists' connections with industry.
As of 3/21/2018, Dr. Fisher has reported no financial relationship with industry that is applicable to this listing. In general, patients should feel free to contact their doctor about any of the relationships and how the relationships are overseen by Cleveland Clinic. Public Health Service-Reportable Financial Conflicts of Interest. Cleveland Clinic scientists and physicians engage in basic, translational and clinical research activities, working to solve health problems, enhance patient care and improve quality of life for patients. Interactions with industry are essential to bringing the researchers' discoveries to the public, but can present the potential for conflicts of interest related to their research activities. Dr. Gretchen Fisher is an amazing individual, not only as a physician, a professional, but as a human being. Her ability to connect with people and overall medical skills is something that cannot be taught. Her demeanor is that of how health care professionals should aspire to be - very smart, knows and understands what to look for and practical. The CCF is very fortunate to have such a person on their staff and I feel even more fortunate to have found her as my doctor. She's a class act whom I have high confidence as a health care provider.

Dr Fisher is a wonderful doctor and I cannot speak highly enough of her. Her staff is excellent and always makes me feel like I am a part of their family. I moved from Cleveland, OH to WV (due to marriage) and I travel 5 hours to see her and my other Cleveland Clinic doctors. Best care in the world! Love them!

There usually is some wait in the exam room before being seen, but Dr. Fisher makes sure to spend time with each paitent and answer all of my questions so I usually don't mind.

Dr. Fisher and her assistant are the best. In all my years, I have never had a gynecologist that I liked better than Dr. Fisher. You have an absolute gem on your staff!!

I love Dr. Fisher but it is very hard to get and keep my regular appointments. She is only one person and this must be hard to but a kind and caring doctor that everyone wants but calling to make an appointment has to be made easier some how, some way. Dr. Fisher is the best - she give time, shares in sight into health and life. She is one of your best.
