Industry Relationships

Cleveland Clinic physicians and scientists may collaborate with the pharmaceutical or medical device industries to help develop medical breakthroughs or provide medical expertise or education. Cleveland Clinic strives to make scientific advances that will benefit patient care and support outside relationships that promise public benefit. In order for the discoveries of Cleveland Clinic physicians' and scientists' laboratories and investigations to benefit the public, these discoveries must be commercialized in partnership with industry. As experts in their fields, Cleveland Clinic physicians and scientists are often sought after by industry to consult, provide expertise and education.

To assure professional and commercial integrity in such matters, Cleveland Clinic maintains a program that reviews these collaborations and, when appropriate, puts measures in place to minimize bias that may result from ties to industry. Cleveland Clinic publicly discloses the names of companies when (i) its physicians/scientists receive $5,000 or more per year (or, in rare cases, equity or stock options) for speaking and consulting, (ii) its physicians/scientists serve as a fiduciary, (iii) its physicians/scientists receive or have the right to receive royalties or (iv) its physicians/ scientists hold any equity interest for the physician's/scientist's role as inventor, discoverer, developer, founder or consultant.* In publicly disclosing this information, Cleveland Clinic tries to provide information as accurately as possible about its physicians' and scientists' connections with industry.

As of 12/23/2019, Dr. Yudelevich Blumrosen has reported no financial relationship with industry that is applicable to this listing. it took me 2-weeks to get anyone to make me an appointment. Dr. Eric Yudelevich was great.

I was notified by letter that my appointment which I scheduled in March for September needed to be rescheduled. I called immediately and the first available appointment was in January which was completely unacceptable to me. I emailed Dr. Yudelevich and, very kindly and responsively, he found time to see me for my physical in early September. I think Dr. Yudelevich is professional, caring and very skilled...a real asset to your institution.

It's my second visit with Dr. Yudelevich and my blood pressure is controlled now we're working on other issues but I have a lot of trust on him and his staff.

I have the best care provider in Dr. Yudelevich. He cares! I feel it. There are no judgements. With other care providers, I felt dismissed. I would describe my symptoms and care providers made me feel as though I was crazy. It was insulting and dismissive. Dr. Yudelevich set out a plan for me that is productive and caring. This guy is amazing. I am glad that I have him as my PCP.

Dr. Yudelevich was an excellent listener, and he had a lot of empathy. That was the best doctor appointment I have ever had, and I mean it. I want him to be my primary care doctor for the next 20 years.

I love the personal relationship Dr Yudelevich has. He is very concerned of his patients and very tentative during our appointments.
