Cleveland Clinic strives to make scientific advances that will benefit patient care and support outside relationships that promise public benefit. In order for the discoveries of Cleveland Clinic physicians' and scientists' laboratories and investigations to benefit the public, these discoveries must be commercialized in partnership with industry. As experts in their fields, Cleveland Clinic physicians and scientists are often sought after by industry to consult, provide expertise and education.
To assure professional and commercial integrity in such matters, Cleveland Clinic maintains a program that reviews these collaborations and, when appropriate, puts measures in place to minimize bias that may result from ties to industry. Cleveland Clinic publicly discloses the names of companies when (i) its physicians/scientists receive $5,000 or more per year (or, in rare cases, equity or stock options) for speaking and consulting, (ii) its physicians/scientists serve as a fiduciary, (iii) its physicians/scientists receive or have the right to receive royalties or (iv) its physicians/ scientists hold any equity interest for the physician's/scientist's role as inventor, discoverer, developer, founder or consultant.* In publicly disclosing this information, Cleveland Clinic tries to provide information as accurately as possible about its physicians' and scientists' connections with industry.

This was the most AMAZING experience we have had with a pediatrician! Dr. Churbock took her time with us and my kids loved her! I don't usually go to this office as it's about 2x further than our usual doctor but it was well worth the drive. I wish she was our regular pediatrician! I give Dr. Churbock a 10 out of 10.

We are still relatively new to the Cleveland area, so, we've been looking for a primary care physician for some time. After the fantastic experience we had with Dr. Churbock during our daughter's appointment, we took the leap and scheduled an appointment for our son, as well; I am so pleased that we made that decision! Dr. Churbock is extremely knowledgeable and she explained everything to our 7 year old in terms that he could understand. In addition, she is very kind and listens to any and all questions/concerns that we may have.

My daughter's regular pediatrician, D. Ghazoul is out on medical leave and we needed a school physical. Our regular office could not accommodate us quickly as they were already down one doctor, so they found us an opening with *Dr. Churbock. She was WONDERFUL! She talked with my 13 year old honestly, openly & in an age appropriate manner. Very thorough & caring. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend her and really the only reason I would not see her again are due to our history with current provider as well as location (she is not close in proximity - we went a bit out of our way to secure this appt. on short notice.) Even my daughter commented how "nice" *Dr. Churbock was! I thoroughly appreciated her taking her time with us even though we are not recurring patients. A+!

*Dr. Churbock was a "fill in" scheduled at Strongsville - my daughters loved her so much they are willing to go farther away for appointments just to see her again! I thought she was the best pediatrician we've ever seen.
